The iPhone is an amazing, all-in-one gadget. The cable that comes with it? Not so much. It’s pretty bulky and can be a pain to take along, especially if you’re a frequent traveler or if you prefer things to be more compact, since the wire can snag on the other stuff in your bag.
Jason Hilbourne probably had the same problems handling his own iPhone stuff, so he came up with the ultimate solution that he’s looking to mass produce for the good of all mankind: the Twig, which is dubbed as the “amazing, ultra-portable cable for your iPhone.”
It’s pretty hard to believe that this tiny device can replace that meter-long cable that came in the box. Not only that, but it also functions as a tripod, too. The Twig is fashioned from bendable wires, that lets you position it however way you’d want it to while it’s connected on your laptop. Just space the three legs evenly out, and you’ve got yourself a tripod.
The Twig Kickstarter project has already reached its goal, but you can still make a pledge of at least $18 to get your very own Twig when it’s made.
