Stambaugh event with Jon Mosey

YSU marching band plans senior day
The Youngstown State University marching band, the Marching Pride, invites all high school seniors interested in attending YSU to participate in Senior Day on Saturday at Stambaugh Stadium. the activities coincide with the final game of the Penguins’ football season against Missouri State.
Visiting seniors will report at 9 a.m. and attend the band rehearsal at Stambaugh Stadium; after the game, they can attend the “Ice Breaker” concert.

Victorian decor is topic of lecture
The Sutliff Museum’s free fall lecture series will conclude with “The Victorian Home and its Decor,” presented by Cynthia Marshall, at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Thomas Meeting Room of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library.
Marshall will discuss the lamps, figurines, vases, paisley shawls, souvenirs and crafts that adorned middle-class Victorian homes.
Audience members can bring in one or two objects for Marshall to identify, discuss and informally appraise. the museum, on the second floor of the library, will be open after the lecture.
