iOS 5 beta 4 was released a while ago, and it has already been jailbroken with Redsnow but today iH8Snow released a new version of Snowbreeze that supports iOS 5 beta 5 also.
Snowbreeze has some advantages over Redsnow and for many people this tool is crucial, as it preserves the iPhone baseband to allow unlocking with the existing version of Ultrasnow.
Just as Redsnow, Snowbreeze 2.8 is also a tethered jailbreak which means that you’ll have to boot in a jailbroken state every time you reboot your iDevice using iBooty. also, Snowbreeze 2.8 won’t work on iPad 2 or on iPhone 3GS with old baseband, but it works with all the other iDevices that support iOS 5 beta 5.
If you have a developer account and you want to jailbreak your iDevice using Snowbreeze 2.8, you can download the tool below and follow one of our tutorials to complete the jailbreak process.
