More iPhone 6 rumors have hit the internet. Consumers have been searching online to find out information about the iPhone 6 release date and features. No one knows for sure when the handset will debut, but there has been a lot of speculation over the possibility of Apple launching a new smartphone by June.
One article about the new iPhone says “Apple could be planning to introduce a built-in fingerprint sensor to its next-generation iPhone later this year, which could spell trouble for rival smartphone makers.”
The article analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed expectations that the new iPhone, whether called the iPhone 6 or iPhone 5S will have a fingerprint sensor built in to the home button. Kuo has “correctly predicted Apple product launches in the past.”
Fingerprint technology could reduce some considered risks with iOS 6’s Passbook by requiring the user’s fingerprint to unlock the app or verify payments.
Other new Apple product predictions from Kuo include the iPhone 6, with an improved camera and an A7 chip, as well as a less expensive iPhone model available in several colors, a thinner 10″ iPad, and an iPad Mini with a Retina display. Kuo believes the iPhone 6 release date will be sometime in June or July.
