Some of the latest iPhone 5 release date rumors and news says Apple is testing prototypes if the new iPhone 5’s 4-inch display? On one hand, it makes complete sense for Apple to launch their sixth generation iOS 6 smartphone with a larger display. However, the other hand is finding the handset rather bulky and awkward. Will a larger gadget be an annoyance to veteran Apple enthusiasts?
A recent article states Apple is working on two prototypes of the smartphone model. Both “early-build models have a larger display, measuring 3.95 inches diagonally, with a resolution of 1136 X 640 pixels.”
So if the above information is correct then the rumors of the next iPhone having a 4-inch display are true. It looks like Apple fanatics may want to get ready to having a slightly bulkier handset to tote around! The article goes on to say the two prototypes, “codenamed N41AP and N42AP, are in early EVT (Engineering Validation Test) stage of development where one of them will be approved for mass manufacturing” for the iPhone 5 release date.
What are your thoughts on this latest iPhone 5 release date rumor? Do you think Apple is testing two prototypes with the same larger display size? Will you be buying the new handset when it launches later this year?
