More iPhone 5 release date rumors have hit the news saying Apple is testing two new iOS 6 smartphones. if these rumors are true, it brings up the 4-inch display rumors which Apple CEO Tim Cook seemingly shot down earlier in the week.
A recent article says, “Apple is testing multiple next-generation iPhones, and we have independently heard that at least one of these devices sports a brand new display.”
So was Tim Cook referring to exiting models when he spoke of their devices only having one display size? Some Apple enthusiasts are hopeful the upcoming gadget will have a larger screen, but no one will know until the iPhone 5 release date arrives, unless Apple announces otherwise before then.
The article does specify that Apple is working on a new iPhone 5 with a nearly 4-inch display, adding the technology giant isn’t going to increase the screen size “and leave the current resolution, but will actually be adding pixels to the display.”
What expectations do you hold for the iPhone 5 release date? Do you think Apple will go through the trouble of making a larger display after hearing the earlier statements from Apple’s CEO about the iPhone screen size?
